This page describes the steps required to install and setup AVR Studio 5 for use with the Arduino microprocessor boards. This configuration was tested on Windows 7 64 bit.
First follow the instructions available below to install the Arduino environment

Once installed test the installation by opening the blink application found in file>examples>basics. Verify and then uploading this to the board. Note you will need to select correct board type (tools>board) and serial port (tools>serial port).
Second download and install AVR Studio 5
